HAVE QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the "Points System" (CRS)?

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is used by Canada to rank Express Entry candidates. You get points for your age, education, work experience, and language skills. We help you find every possible way to maximize your score.

What is a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?

Canadian provinces can "nominate" candidates from the Express Entry pool (or their own streams) who have the specific skills they need. A nomination gives you a massive 600-point boost, virtually guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply.

How long does the PR process take?

This varies greatly. After receiving an ITA, the standard processing time is often 6-8 months. However, waiting in the pool for an ITA can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few years, depending on your score and the draw cut-offs.

Can I bring my family with me on a PR visa?

Yes. When you apply for Permanent Residency, you must include your spouse or common-law partner and any dependent children. They will all receive PR status at the same time as you.
